Often times, when God gives us a dream, aspiration or goals, it takes like forever before these dreams or goals come to fruition. We wonder why God makes us wait after giving us certain dreams, aspirations and goals.
The mere thought of how beautiful the outcome of these dreams or goals are get us so excited that we want to see it manifesting almost immediately not wanting to wait any minute more or go through the process.

But while we wait for our dreams to come true, goals to materialise and aspirations to be achieved, God takes us through a process - a process in which he prepares us for the dream or vision ahead. This process is what takes us right where we ought to be.
A process is a series of actions or steps taken to get to a desired end. Certain things or steps need to be taken before our dreams come true or before we can step into the promise God has for us.
We tend to get frustrated most often when the wait is getting longer than anticipated but the simple truth is that God will always take us through the process no matter how long it takes so we are able to handle all that he has for us.
Every delay, every disappointment, every struggle and obstacle we face are all part of the process. In order for us to scale through this process, we need to keep the right attitude having faith in God.
Instead of growing bitter and all frustrated for our dreams not coming true, let's grow better in the process by growing our faith in God. Trust he will take you and bring you through the process well refined.
While we wait, there are so many things that happen within us. It's either we let these things better us or we let them embitter us.

WHAT THE PROCESS ENTAILS
While God is taking us through the process, God builds our character, builds our resilience, makes us contented in life, teaches us how to let go of the things we can't control so we depend on him solely when our strength fails, grows our patience and faith in preparation of the dream and vision he has given to us enabling us with the capability and ability of handling the dream when it finally comes true.
This reminds me of the story of David in 1 Samuel 16 where we see David anointed by Samuel to replace saul but what happened after the anointing? Naturally, with human thinking, it would have been expected that David ascends the throne immediately after his anointing but this was not the case, David went back tending his father's flocks undergoing training in the process - killing wild animals with his bare hands that come to attack his father's flocks.
God anointed David to become king succeeding Saul way long before David actually became King because he wanted to take David through the process of what it entails becoming a king and the anointing signifies the dream God has laid in his heart.
During the training process of David, we see in 1st Samuel 17 where David was able to bring Goliat down with a sling and a stone amidst well trained soldiers who were frightened even at the sight of Goliath despite their training and mastery in weaponry. And when David eventually became King, we saw all the exploits he did as a result of the process he went through.
Joseph was another person in Genesis 37 whom God gave dreams to show him what his future would look like but before arriving at his God ordained destiny, he went through a process which refined, moulded and shaped his character better than he was and was able to save the israelites, egyptians, his household and others from the famine that was looming then.
God has a plan, a path and a purpose for everyone of us which leads us to our destinies but to get to this glorious destiny, let's also be ready to go through the process. If we skip the process, we miss out of all that God has for us both in the journey and the destination.
