IT TAKES MATURITY TO ENJOY WHERE YOU ARE

How do you find everyday of your life? Do you enjoy every moment or you are waiting for a specific moment, day or goal to be reached before you are happy with who you are, where you are and contented with what you have and the good things life has given to you so far?

One of the best ways to enjoy life to the fullest and keeping your mind and body in good health is not mourning the past or worrying about what the future holds but living in the present moment and enjoying where you are while you work towards a desired end or future.

Today has enough good things bestowed on us to behold and savor and not to be worrying about unforeseen circumstances or anticipated troubles that may not even happen so why not make use of the very best of today?

You do not have grace for tomorrow but for today to enjoy and be grateful to God for the gift of today. The Bible says God daily loads us with benefits ( Psalm 68:19) not tomorrowlly 😉

There are so many benefits that has come with today - the gifts of the day, sound health, sound appetite, family and friends, the beautiful sunset, goals to pursue for the day,  having a reason to wake up every morning, a job or business to get to and so on.

You have certain amount of control for today to make it what you want it to be than you do for tomorrow or what may have happened in the past. The past should be in the past. You don't need to dwell in the past and pass away with the past.

You can't change what has happened in the past and you do not know what tomorrow holds for you. You may have planned your tomorrow but there is also the certainty that it may not come out as planned because only God has our tomorrow in his hands and has it well planned out for us.

It takes maturity to enjoy where you are. It shows you no longer worry about what happened in the past or what would happen in the future but grateful to God for the gift of today, savoring every moment.

Enjoying where you are at the moment is an effective way of truly having a happy and a good quality of life. It helps eliminates the sadness of the past, the worry or anxiety of the future and keeps you contented with what you have and where you are.

We are constantly in motion in our heads thinking about our to-do list, making plans for tomorrow and always wanting to plan ahead which is good but while we do all these, let's not forget that God has given us the gift of today to make the most of it and not to worry so much about tomorrow or dwell in the past,

Every tomorrow has a way of taking care of itself while today has a lot for us to handle and deal with. That's why God admonishes us to "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own."

As you journey through life, it's good to sometimes stop and enjoy the little things life has given you instead of ruminating over the past or anxious about the future.

It's sometimes difficult as we go through the hustles and bustles of everyday life, seeking a better tomorrow and looking for ways not to have a repeat of the past to pause for a moment and appreciate the good things at our disposals for today.

In our struggles, we miss the wonderful experience of today and the now that makes where we are at the moment very special.

Quote for the day - "You don't have grace for tomorrow but now. When tomorrow comes, the grace will be there."
