Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo says Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike’s Policy thrust in education is yielding positive results for all to see.
Dr. Banigo made this assertion in a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, 15th September, 2021 in reaction to the emergence of the Rivers State University as the University of the Year, 2021 by the International Achievements Research Centre in Canada.
According to the Deputy Governor “it is gratifying to note that the accreditation exercise carried out by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria as well as the National Universities Commission in the Rivers State University was a huge success”.
Dr. Banigo who assured the Rivers People that Governor Wike would continue to invest in massive human capital development in the State congratulated the University Management for keying into the Governor’s dream of making Rivers State the educational hub of Nigeria.
