EXCELLENCE AWARD, BANIGO HAILS WIKE

The Deputy Governor of Rivers State Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo
has described the State Chief Executive Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as an
enigma who has continued to surprise his detractors, with his ever
rising profile.


Dr. Banigo stated this in reaction to the Award of Excellence
conferred on Governor Wike by the Sustainable Cities and Human
Settlements Awards (SCAHSA) by the United Nations in New York.


In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt Dr. Banigo
said 

“while the All Progressives Congress is dissipating its energy in
the failed bid to hood wink the Rivers People into believing, the
Governor is not working, Governor Wike has continued to dwarf whatever
achievements the APC may have claimed to have achieved in the past”.

Administration has positively touched the Rivers People where it
matters most, with our lean resources we have been able to deliver top

WE ARE A PRODUCT OF GOD’S GRACE - Wike

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that his
Administration is a product of God’s Grace.


Governor Wike stated this during the Silver Jubilee celebration of the
Royal House of Grace International Church in Port Harcourt.


The Governor who spoke through his Deputy Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry
Banigo said it is quite instructive that the Church is celebrating its
Silver Jubilee in the same year the State celebrated its own Golden
Jubilee, stressing that the Almighty God who is the originator of the
Jubilee will continue to bless His People.


He said there is a need for Christians who have not fully repented to
have a new encounter with Christ and be saved, stressing that there is
nothing greater than the salvation of souls.


The Governor expressed joy that a lot of youths answered the alter
call at the occasion, noting that the younger generation needs to be
salvaged from vices like drug abuse, cultism, kidnapping, ritual
killings and armed robbery by embracing Christ.

WE WILL ENSURE ROUND THE CLOCK SECURITY - Banigo

The Rivers State Government has vowed to ensure that every part of the
State is safe round the clock.


Deputy Governor Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo made this vow at a
security meeting with the Chairmen of the Care Taker Committee of
Asari Toru, Akuku Toru, Degema, Emohua and the Commanding Officer 130
Battalion, Harry’s Town Lt. Col. A. M Ahamadu at the Government House
in Port Harcourt.



Dr. Banigo said the State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is extremely
interested in the security and safety of all the Local Government
Areas of the State especially the coastal cities where there has been
reports of sea piracy, kidnapping and boat hijacking.



“This meeting is important we have to rub minds to know what everybody
is doing to ensure that Rivers State is safe for residents and
investors” She said.

Armoured Personnel Carriers and the necessary logistics to fight

WE ARE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO GOD - WIKE

The State Chief Executive Nyesom Ezenwo Wike says his Administration
will be eternally grateful to God for putting them in office despite
the efforts of his opponents to truncate the New Rivers Vision.


Governor Wike stated this at the 2017 Adult Harvest Thanksgiving
Service of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Rumuobiakani Deanery, Diocese
of Evo in Port Harcourt.


Represented by his Deputy Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo, Governor
Wike said “We are a Government of Thanks Giving to God for all he has
done for us”, noting that the expectation of the righteous cannot be
cut off.


He said his Administration has a Special Trust Fund to assist
Ministers of the gospel in rural areas to be properly catered for
especially in the area of getting a befitting accommodation.

According to him the vision of St Andrew’s Church to complete its
staff quarters will be properly addressed and expressed the hope that
the Church will continue to be a Centre for Missions.

RIVERS STAT GOVERNMENT TO REVIVE DENTAL MAXILLO - FACIA HOSPITAL

The Rivers State Government has again re-echoed its commitment to
provide holistic quality health care services to the Rivers People.


The Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo stated this
during a courtesy visit to her by members of the Rivers State Branch
of the Nigeria Dental Association, at the Government House in Port
Harcourt.

Dr. Banigo said the Governor Wike led Government is working hard to
revive the Dental Maxillo-Facia Hospital to make it what it ought to
be, stressing that Government is committed to residency training in
all fields of medicine.


She said although we have a National Oral Health Policy in the
Country, there is a need to review and upgrade it in line with present
realities, in view of the fact that the policy is now obsolete.

Dr. Banigo who said the State Government wants Rivers People to access
quality health services in both Public and Private health facilities,
disclosed that more grants will be given to doctors, noting that
