CHRIST CHURCH WILL CONTINUE TO GROW: BANIGO

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has described the Out-going Resident Minister of Christ Church Port Harcourt, Venerable Saturday Nbete as a God Seeker.

Dr. Banigo stated this during the End of Year Thanksgiving Service and Send-Off organized for Ministers at Christ Church, Forces Avenue, Old G.R.A, Port Harcourt on Sunday, 15th December, 2019.

According to the Deputy Governor, he is an author, evangelist, missionary worker and a man after the heart of God, who is constantly pursuing and ready to pour out what God has put in him to others.

“God is calling you to a greater service, he is calling you to fulfil the purpose beyond your dreams and expectations and thank God because you are going to key into it, thank God because he has already started moulding you for this great work he has for you.” She further stressed.

She expressed gratitude to the Church for allowing her participate when the women were putting up a Mammogram Centre.

“I want to say that I am grateful to Christ Church for allowing me to participate when the women were putting up their Mammogram Centre. You invited me and Her Excellency, the Wife of the Governor; we participated in that programme and I am happy to hear that the centre is still working well and strong.” She stressed.

Dr. Banigo who thanked the Women’s League of the Church for the award they presented to Hon. Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom Wike and herself in July this year, promised to remain committed to the course and purpose for which God have called her and expressed the hope that Christ Church would continue to grow from Glory to Glory.

In his farewell speech the outgoing Resident Minister and Chairman of the Church Council, Venerable Saturday Nbete who described Christ Church as a spiritual phenomenon, said many members of the church truly love God and the business of His Kingdom.

Rev. Mosy Madugba the Guest Speaker spoke on the theme “Fulfilling God’s Purpose For Your Generation”. Which was drawn from Acts.13:36.
